2022 SOUTHERN DOCUMENTARY FUND PRODUCTION GRANTS APPLICATIONS DUE JULY 18
The Southern Documentary Fund is now accepting applications for 2022 Production Grants, due July 18th by 10:59 pm CST. SDF will be awarding $10,000 each to five filmmakers directing their lenses at powerful Southern stories.
Filmmakers at all levels are encouraged to apply for this funding opportunity. Project Directors must be 18 years or older and reside or have deep roots in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Applicants must not be enrolled in a film school and/or seeking funds for a student project.
Grant information sessions will take place on June 27th at 12 pm and on July 12th at 3 pm. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions about the grant process and both sessions will be recorded.
