Local Film Spotlight!
ONE WAY TICKET TO NOWHERE
Film Birmingham is proud to spotlight our local film community with One Way Ticket To Nowhere.
One Way Ticket To Nowhere is a dramatic short film that follows Michael Mulligan on his first day of freedom after years of incarceration. With nowhere to go and no one waiting for him, Michael moves through a world that has continued on without him. The film was written, filmed, and produced in Birmingham, Alabama.
The entire cast and crew of One Way Ticket To Nowhere are Birmingham natives, reflecting the city’s strong base of local talent. Lead actor Kevin Wayne, who portrays Michael Mulligan, has been working professionally for more than thirty years, appearing in major productions such as Tulsa King, Outer Banks, and The Magnificent Seven.
