Excited to announce our newest Film Birmingham workshop coming up at Saturn on Saturday, Sept. 6th from 10-11:30 am where we will be leading a panel discussion about the ins and outs of location scouting and management. Featuring industry insiders, as well as local homeowners who have rented their properties for use in movies, this will be a lively discussion about careers in location scouting as well as how it financially benefits our local communities. We will also be touching on our effort to create a countywide database of filmmaking assets for set use through our Jefferson County Film Initiative, and hope to have a lot of people come out to learn about how property rental cannot only help bring more moviemaking to our area, but also help put more money in the coffers of both our municipalities as well as private citizens.
