Our cultural richness is now bolstered by Senate Bill 177, signed into law in May 2025, which expanded Alabama’s entertainment incentives and reserved $2 million exclusively for new music albums. The legislation makes projects with budgets between $30,000 and $200,000 eligible for rebates and allows up to $3 million in unused funds to roll forward into the next fiscal year. With this statewide investment, Alabama is underscoring the value of its music community and opening the door for more of our sound to be heard in film.
