“Firebird Fever” is a music video created for Birmingham musician Will Stewart. Following the song narrative, I produced and drew a cartoon using traditional methods. All 816 frames were hand drawn onto sheets of tracing paper and individually scanned and compiled into an animation. The cartoon follows a guy named Jimmy as he buys a Pontiac Firebird, cruises around town, specifically to the Moon Winx Lodge, and just gets into typical bad-boy stuff.
